Sunday, 30 November (continued)

Having had a good lunch, we wandered up the street to the Open View of Cradle to Grave at the British Museum.

Here Usako & Kousa are looking at the photo of their sister's sore knee...

...and here the photo from our father's "funeral before death" - they are in the shot, of course ;-)

With David Woods (Ridiculusmus) and Kazuko Hohki (Frank Chickens) in front of the installation.

Usakousa trying to reach my wife's wine glass, as he chats to Dave, at the "tea" downstairs after the Open View. I tell you - wife's Nikon digital camera looked good, I'm going to check it out when I'm in Japan later this month!!!
We did have an exceptionally good Italian meal (again in the trendy W11) later on in the evening, but I had run out of both my battery and my film by then and couldn't do any shots. Dave's done some though, so let's hope he'll mail them to us...

Monday, 1 December

We got out of bed late, took the film to have it developed, then went into a Korean/Chinese place on Praed Street and had a lunch special: Bibimbap + kimchi + bean sprout namul + soup.
The afternoon was spent trying out my newly acquired Airport card at the hotel bar (Paddington Hilton), which is a BT hotspot. It worked - except I couldn't download my mails (sending was no problem), plus I had stupidly forgotten to take the USB cable for my Fuji camera so I couldn't send you any pix from there!

Anyway, after a while I got hungry again (I must have been tired) and had a lobster club sandwich, (below left), with rocket & yellow cherry tomatoes - oh, and a glass of champagne, of course!

Then an hour or two to kill at the BA lounge at Heathrow (below). I've always found their wine selection dreadful, and they still don't have any wireless zones either :-( Well, we killed the time watching Kazuko's "My Husband is a Spaceman" CD-Rom - very nice :-)
